As one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere (behind only Haiti), the people face high rates of maternal and child mortality and a rising rate of chronic diseases such as diabetes.
Through our in-country partners, we provide critical support for health care providers in underserved communities in one of the poorest countries in the region. We also equip doctors and dentists participating in medical outreach teams, bring free health care to people who lack any access.
