Multi-Award-Winning Actor
Winner of seven Emmys and an additional eight nominations, Jean Smart is one of only two actors to have earned the award in comedy lead, supporting and guest categories. She has also received three SAG Awards, three Golden Globes, six Critics’ Choice Awards and a Grammy and Tony Award nomination. She continues to receive accolades for her role as Deborah Vance on the HBO Max comedy series, “Hacks.”
In summer 2025, Smart made a return to Broadway for the world premiere of the one woman play, “Call Me Izzy,” a moving tour de force portrait of a woman who resists being silenced by unleashing her tenacity, humor and the force of her imagination. Her Off-Broadway credits include “Fit to Be Tied,” “The End Of The Day” and “Last Summer at Bluefish Cove,” for which she received a Drama Desk nomination and won an L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award.
