Stamford, Conn. – July 9, 2026 – Americares, the global health and disaster relief organization, is pleased to announce the election of Lori McEvoy to its Board of Directors. McEvoy, who will serve a three-year term, brings to the board experience in financial services, global business leadership and strategic business development, along with a deep commitment to Americares mission of helping people and communities around the world access health in times of disaster and every day.

With her enthusiasm to find meaningful ways to contribute and her impressive leadership experience, Lori will make a tremendous addition to our board. The Americares Board of Directors oversees all aspects of the organization’s life-changing health programs, including its disaster response efforts and support of over 4,000 under-resourced health centers around the world.
McEvoy has been a longtime member of Americares Leadership Council, a community of dedicated philanthropists and activists working to raise awareness of Americares health programs and the global health challenges it addresses.

McEvoy recently retired from Jennison Associates, where she spent nearly a decade as managing director and global head of distribution for the global investment management company. In this role, she oversaw sales and client service activities across the firm, including strategic development and leadership of Jennison’s global institutional and sub-advisory sales, relationship management, marketing and consultant relations divisions.
Before joining Jennison Associates, McEvoy spent three years as head of institutional sales at ClearBridge Investments, where she oversaw the direction and management of institutional sales, consultant relations and sub-advisory relationships. Before that, McEvoy spent six years at Fred Alger Management, serving as head of institutional sales and service and director of consultant relations. Earlier in her career, McEvoy was director of consultant relations at WisdomTree Investments.
McEvoy earned her bachelor’s degree in management from Rosemont College in Pennsylvania. She completed graduate-level coursework in finance at Saint Joseph’s University in Pennsylvania as well as a marketing and investment management program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. She lives in Valley Forge, Penn., with her wife, Kathi Lex.
