The Americares Board of Directors oversees all aspects of the organization’s life-changing health programs including its disaster response work and support for under-resourced hospitals and health clinics worldwide. Americares helps communities prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters; increase access to medicine and medical supplies; improve and expand clinical services; and prevent disease and promote good health. Since its founding more than 40 years ago, Americares has provided more than $18 billion in aid to 164 countries, including the United States.

“My family has been involved with Americares for almost 20 years and I keep a 2002 Americares supporter card in my wallet to this day,” Bosek said. “It has been incredibly rewarding to see the impact the organization has had on so many lives. I’m excited to help Americares continue to grow and I hope the Junior Council can play a greater role in getting younger people more involved.”

Bosek has served as chairman of Americares Junior Council since 2017, helping to grow the council from 34 members to nearly 100.

He is currently a vice president in the SPDR ETF division at State Street Global Advisors, the world’s third-largest asset manager. Prior to joining State Street, Mr. Bosek served as an associate director on the exchange traded funds strategy and due diligence team at UBS Wealth Management. Prior to that, he worked at BMO Capital Markets, where he worked in institutional equity sales trading.

Bosek holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Villanova University. He lives in New York City with his wife, Sara.
