As disasters struck in China and India, AmeriCares emergency relief workers sprung into action and are mobilizing lifesaving medical supplies and other humanitarian supplies.
“AmeriCares is sending rapid response teams to help provide disaster relief in China and India,” says Christoph Gorder, Vice President of Emergency Response. “Medicines, medical supplies and other humanitarian aid are being readied for delivery.”

India Cyclone: A fierce cyclone with 100mph winds tore through western India, killing at least 89 villagers and destroying 50,000 homes according to media reports from Calcutta.
