Matching gift campaigns are designed to inspire generosity in our supporters. Usually, a generous donor offers a significant amount of funds, say $25,000, and every dollar received by supporters will be matched up to this amount. Depending on the amount of matching funds, the match may be dollar for dollar or more if the funds are available.

Americares volunteers are a meaningful part of our organization. We welcome volunteers at our headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, to help with projects like assembling emergency kits to help maintain year-round readiness. We also welcome volunteers at our Free Clinics Program.
Americares does not accept applications from individual volunteers for any relief work or overseas missions.
