Dr. Ari Perkins

Dr. Ari Perkins currently serves as the volunteer medical director for the Bob Macauley Americares Free Clinic of Norwalk, where he provides guidance on clinic policies and procedures, supports volunteer recruitment and serves as an advocate within the community. He has also served as a volunteer physician at the Norwalk clinic since 2015, providing quality care for low-income, uninsured patients. 

Dr. Perkins is an attending emergency physician at Norwalk Hospital’s Department of Emergency Medicine, where he has worked for the past 15 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and graduated from Upstate Medical Center at the Syracuse School of Medicine. Dr. Perkins completed his residency at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and holds an MBA from the George Washington University.  

He is also a member of the Americares Leadership Council and was the top fundraiser for Americares at the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon.
