Run With Team Americares

Team Americares supports the Americares mission by raising awareness and funds to support our emergency relief and ongoing global health programs.

Meet Team Americares

Team members receive team- and race-specific gear and join a community of race enthusiasts who train and run with us to save lives and build healthier futures for people in crisis all over the world.

Our team captain, Americares President and CEO, Michael J. Nyenhuis, is an experienced marathoner who exemplifies our team spirit. Between runs, Michael hosts team gatherings and post tips and stories to get our team ready for race day!

    Why Health?

For people affected by poverty or disaster, health is essential to a better future. With good health, they can attend school, be productive at work, care for their families and contribute to strong communities. Poor health puts all of those opportunities at risk. Health is fundamental to all aspects of development.

If you would like to contribute, please consider visiting our Crowdrise page, or our Emergency Reponse fund. Either way, your gift will help save lives in more than 90 countries around the world as well as in the United States.
