AmeriCares Delivers Health
And Hope Here At Home

For more than 25 years, AmeriCares has been delivering medicines, medical supplies and critical aid to people in need around the world and here at home. Throughout the United States, we supply more than 150 health care clinics serving the uninsured and underinsured. Currently, there are more than 47 million people in the U.S. unable to afford medical care due to a lack of health insurance. AmeriCares is committed to increasing access to medicines and over the last two years, has delivered over $36 million in medical assistance.

AmeriCares responds immediately to disasters to help reduce suffering and restore health to communities throughout the country. AmeriCares has reached out to thousands of Americans affected by weather-related emergencies including tornadoes in the Midwest, the California wildfires, flooding in the Northwest and the mile-wide tornado that destroyed almost all of Greensburg, Kansas. Most recently we responded to needs of people in the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Ike caused massive flooding in Texas and Louisiana and survivors of a deadly ice storm in Kentucky, Missouri and Arkansas.
