Saving the Tiniest Babies in Kosovo

Before AmeriCares began working in Kosovo in 1999, high-risk newborns like Bardi had little hope of survival. Little Bardi’s life began in Kosovo with heartbreak and hope. Thanks to its remarkable success in reducing malnutrition rates and promoting growth in children facing dire nutritional challenges, the program continues to expand and break the cycle of hunger.
