Strong Earthquake Near Anchorage
A strong 7.0 earthquake struck just outside of Anchorage, Alaska on Friday morning, November 30. There are early reports of damage to infrastructure and buildings. It has been described by frightened residents of the city as the most violent quake in decades. A 5.8 aftershock followed sending people back into the street. More aftershocks are expected. An earlier tsunami warning has been lifted.
