Our clinics are at the heart of a caring community, bringing together skilled volunteers and donated services from area health care providers, including hospitals and diagnostic laboratories, to serve our neighbors in need.

Stamford, Conn. – August 13, 2018 – Near & Far Aid has awarded a $25,000 grant to the Americares Free Clinics in Bridgeport and Norwalk to support quality health care for low-income, uninsured residents in Fairfield County.
The Fred Weisman Americares Free Clinic of Bridgeport is partnering with the Connecticut Food Bank to deliver fresh and nutritious food for families in need throughout the greater Bridgeport area, and will host a free mobile pantry from 11 a.m. until noon on the second Saturday of each month beginning Saturday, Feb. 9.
Dr. Ari Perkins has been named medical director of the Bob Macauley Americares Free Clinic of Norwalk. In his new role, Dr. Perkins will provide guidance on clinic policies and procedures, support volunteer recruitment and serve as an advocate within the community.
