To our partners, donors and friends who made this year’s Americares Airlift Benefit so memorable — our sincerest thanks. On Saturday, we celebrated Americares life-changing work, made possible by support from friends like you.

Because of your generosity, we were able to raise nearly $1.8 million, which will help make better health possible for countless individuals in the U.S. and around the world.

Americares is committed to saving lives and improving the health of people affected by poverty and disaster. We are grateful for your partnership and hope to see you at next year’s event.

With sincerest gratitude,

The Airlift to Puerto Rico

We have canceled the airlift to Puerto Rico so we can focus on our response to Hurricane Fiona. The Americares team in San Juan is dedicating all of their efforts to the response and recovery. As an organization that focuses on urgent health needs, we are using the breadth of our resources—medicine, relief supplies, logistics and staff expertise—for those who need them most.

We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday evening, October 1, and sharing the extraordinary work of our team with you—work that is all the more urgent in light of Hurricane Fiona.

We hope you will join us to recognize, not only the work that you make possible, but to honor Puerto Rico’s greatest resource – its people. And we look forward to next year when we can resume our airlift for our guests.
