Once disaster strikes, from earthquakes, typhoons and disease outbreaks around the world to hurricanes and tornadoes here in the United States, Voya Financial has been our partner in bringing relief and recovery to devastated communities. In our last fiscal year, AmeriCares sent crucial medicines and supplies to 37 emergency events in 25 countries, delivering $29 million in aid to support our preparedness, response and recovery efforts.
In 2012, the Voya Foundation formally became an Annual Emergency Response Partner. With the year-round support of the Voya Foundation, AmeriCares can strengthen its emergency capacity by monitoring events, conducting in-country assessments with partners and government agencies, pre-positioning medical and relief aid in disaster-prone regions, and maintaining emergency pharmacy inventory at our headquarters, as well as at our regional warehouse and distribution hubs.

The Voya Foundation is the charitable giving arm of Voya Financial. It supports efforts that empower people to secure a better future through charitable partnerships, employee volunteerism and charitable contributions. The foundation awards grants to non-profit organizations addressing a variety of community needs and resources.
