• AmeriCares has long and abiding relationships with many corporate partners. It is part of the AmeriCares model to cultivate and develop partnerships that help us to respond quickly to international and domestic crises, and support ongoing aid programs. Some of our major partners are listed below, and you can see more in-depth information in each "Partners in Profile."


    Since 1986, Abbott has provided more than $500 million in medicines, nutritional supplements and medical supplies to people in need in more than 100 countries – including Survanta® for the prevention of respiratory distress syndrome in premature newborns in Kosovo. These donations support both AmeriCares ongoing health care programs as well as emergency shipments for Darfur refugees and survivors of major disasters like the 2008 Myanmar cyclone.

    Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

    Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. shares AmeriCares mission to provide urgently needed relief aid to people affected by disasters around the globe. Its support has helped AmeriCares maintain the expertise and capabilities necessary to launch emergency responses swiftly and effectively.

    Anthem Foundation

    Anthem Foundation is a longtime AmeriCares partner, supporting its emergency recovery work in Japan after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, its relief efforts in China following the 2008 Sichuan Province earthquake, and its response to Myanmar’s Cyclone Nargis in 2008.


    AstraZeneca is donating medicines in countries around the world, helping to improve the lives of people with little or no access to basic health care. Well-known for developing medicines designed to combat some of the world’s most devastating and debilitating diseases, such as cancer, heart disease and asthma, AstraZeneca donates these and other products that are critical in supporting AmeriCares humanitarian activities. In 2008, AstraZeneca joined with AmeriCares and Sihanouk Hospital Center of HOPE to launch the Breast Cancer Initiative, the only successful breast cancer screening program in Cambodia's public sector for poor patients.


    AmeriCares Honors Baxter with Power of Partnership Award. Baxter is a steadfast ally in times of international crisis, providing AmeriCares with both product donations and financial support for disasters like the earthquake in China and devastating cyclone in Myanmar.

    Boehringer Ingelheim

    The Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation (BICF) is dedicated to making positive, lasting differences in the lives of underserved patients, their loved ones, medical professionals and communities around the world. Through its product donation program, BICF makes its leading medications available to AmeriCares.


    Boeing has been a dedicated partner in the AmeriCares mission to bring health and hope to people in desperate circumstances since 2009. Its Humanitarian Delivery Flight program has supported our emergency aid shipments to Chile, Indonesia, Pakistan, the Philippines and Somalia. The program is a collaborative effort among Boeing, its airline customers, domestic nonprofits and international nongovernment organizations to deliver humanitarian aid to communities in need around the world.

    Bristol-Myers Squibb

    The Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation, through its Delivering Hope program that focuses on Hepatitis B and C in Asia, recently awarded a $144,500 grant to AmeriCares India to launch a health worker safety program at Jagjivan Ram Railway Hospital in Mumbai.

    Cardinal Health

    Thanks in large part to Cardinal Health, more than 2,000 hospitals and health clinics AmeriCares supports worldwide have the medical consumables so essential for quality medical care. Since 1996, Cardinal Health has donated more than $20 million worth of products to AmeriCares for distribution to 83 countries.


    Chevron has been a strong partner of AmeriCares for more than 25 years, providing critical resources to communities affected by disaster or poverty. Chevron initially supported the delivery of medicines to health facilities in Armenia and later to Kazakhstan, Angola and other underresourced countries.

    Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories

    Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, an India-based pharmaceutical company, has donated 1.5 tons of medicines, including antibiotics, pain relievers, gastrointestinal medicines, to treat disaster victims around the world. Read more.

    GE Foundation

    The GE Foundation has partnered with AmeriCares since 1989 to increase the effectiveness of our emergency response efforts both in the United States and worldwide and, in the last five years, to drive process improvements and growth in our U.S. Medical Assistance Program. GE staff work alongside us, sharing their knowledge and expertise as we develop and implement changes to build the capacity of our programs and increase their efficiency and effectiveness. The Foundation’s technical support, thought leadership and financial assistance are invaluable to AmeriCares work.


    Grifols is a global healthcare company with a mission to improve the health and well being of people around the world.


    Hospira is a global, specialty pharmaceutical and medication delivery company, based in Illinois. The professionals at Hospira mirror AmeriCares sense of urgency when disaster strikes.


    The JCCI has been a loyal friend to Americans who have suddenly found their homes and communities devastated by disaster. JCCI’s first gift of support to the AmeriCares U.S. Disaster Fund came in response to the series of deadly tornadoes that swept through southern states in the spring of 2011, followed by additional gifts after the Joplin, Missouri tornado that same spring.


    Medtronic has been a strong partner of AmeriCares for more than 20 years, supporting our global health programs with product donations ranging from wound care supplies and sutures, to pharmaceuticals and respiratory and monitoring devices. Medtronic product donations have also helped support AmeriCares emergency response efforts, enabling us to pre-position medicines and supplies in our warehouses so we can respond at a moment's notice when disasters strike.

    MetLife Foundation

    MetLife Foundation began supporting the AmeriCares mission in 1995. Since then, the partnership has grown to include support for our Global Medical Assistance Program, AmeriCares operations in India and our emergency response capability around the world.

    Nestlé Waters

    Nestlé Waters North America and AmeriCares share a long history of partnership dating back to 1989. When natural disasters strike, clean drinking water is an essential and immediate need.

    Northrop Grumman

    Northrop Grumman has a long history of partnership with AmeriCares, providing us with critical support following Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar in 2008, the Haiti earthquake in 2010, the Oklahoma tornados in 2013 and many other crises.

    OdysseyRe Foundation

    The OdysseyRe Foundation and AmeriCares have worked together since 2007 to respond to health crises worldwide, bring health care to uninsured and underinsured people and mitigate the impact of natural disasters.


    Oracle, the world's most complete, open, and integrated business software and hardware systems company, has donated products and services, along with a generous cash grant, to ensure we have the technology required to send aid whenever it’s needed, wherever it’s needed.

    ORIGIN | Unite

    As part of a global effort to reduce malnutrition, decrease childhood micronutrient deficiency, and increase child survival rates, AmeriCares and, ORIGIN|Unite are partnering to provide donations of 6*59™ Micronutrients to health care organizations helping children in need.


    Patagonia has long been a supporter of AmeriCares mission to respond to people affected by crisis and poverty, joining its Annual Emergency Response Partner (AERP) program in 2016. As a member of the AERP program, Patagonia provides multiyear financial support to build AmeriCares emergency response capability in advance of disasters. This commitment makes Patagonia a partner in every disaster response AmeriCares launches, typically more than 30 annually.

    Purdue Pharma

    Since 1986, Purdue Pharma has donated over $115 million in cash and products to AmeriCares, demonstrating its long standing commitment to improved health worldwide.

    S&P Global

    S&P Global became an AmeriCares Annual Emergency Response Partner in 2013, recognizing that planning and preparation are critical to a swift and effective relief response to a disaster – from earthquakes, typhoons, hurricanes and tornadoes, to disease outbreaks and civil strife.

    sanofi-aventis U.S.

    sanofi-aventis U.S. is a steadfast ally in times of international crisis, providing AmeriCares with both product donations and financial support for disasters like the hurricanes in Haiti and the devastating cyclone in Myanmar.

    Southwest Airlines

    Southwest Airlines® became an AmeriCares Annual Emergency Response Partner in 2014. Through this partnership, Southwest Airlines is helping AmeriCares respond to emergencies without hesitation, and establish an early presence that attracts the partners and resources necessary to sustain a longer, comprehensive response and recovery program.

    Voya Financial

    AmeriCares and Voya Financial share a commitment to bringing urgently needed help to people in crisis no matter the challenges. For more than 10 years, Voya Financial, its employees and the Voya Foundation have helped to ensure that AmeriCares is prepared to respond to emergencies.

    Whole Foods Market

    As a result of the timely initiative and efforts of Whole Foods Market, AmeriCares was able to quickly deliver and distribute lifesaving medicines to more than 90 health care facilities severely damaged by the earthquake and support over 200 volunteer medical teams treating survivors.


    AmeriCares is proud and grateful to partner with WWE, its employees and fans in support of our emergency response in Haiti and Chile, and for other natural disasters around the world.


    XANGO Meal Packs contain many essential nutrients needed for a healthy diet and provide an important nutritional supplement suitable for both children and adults. XANGO has partnered with AmeriCares to deliver the Meal Packs where they are most needed -- to our programs in Cambodia, Malawi, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Mexico and the Philippines.
