  • Your Testimonials

from our donors, partners, and people in need

AmeriCares does amazing work. They have a longstanding commitment to the people of Haiti and will continue to send relief in the days, weeks, months and years ahead.

    Jennifer Aniston

We did some research and we saw a confluence of values with AmeriCares—it’s about raising human dignity, providing hope and creating a foundation of health so people can be more successful, And it’s so professionally run. It’s off the charts in terms of efficiency.

    Scot and Jessica Eisenfelder

Your donation means so much to us. Many others came here promising help, but only you came back. Please thank your colleagues who thought about us—we will pray for you all.

    Jan Gul in Pakistan

Each and every volunteer that I have met at the clinic has gone out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. There is never a shortage of smiles—nature’s best medicine!

    AmeriCares Free Clinic Patient

We continue to seek the right balance in meeting financial, environmental and social responsibilities through one of our most valued partners, AmeriCares. AmeriCares contributes in meaningful ways, addressing some of the world’s most urgent problems.

Cindy Schwab, Vice President, Abbott Laboratories Fund

We recognize the critical role that our products serve in responding to disaster, strife and ongoing public health needs. By partnering with AmeriCares, we can be sure that the product is going to where it is needed the most.

Alice Campbell, senior director of community relations & work/life initiatives, Baxter

There is nothing comparable to AmeriCares. No politics, no fanfare and no self-enrichment intrude when AmeriCares responds to a natural or man-made disaster, anywhere in the world. Goods and services are dispensed where they are needed most, sometimes at great peril to the staff members on site. Who wouldn’t support such a mission?

    Marjorie Roberts

I’m proud to work with a charity that’s on the ground, delivering aid and making an impact on the health of survivors.

Bobby Valentine, former manager, Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan

AmeriCares was the first on the scene to assist our clinic. Your generous grant has literally saved us weeks in restoring medical services. The medications, hygiene products, and cleaning supplies have been vitally important to those affected by the tornado. I will always be an AmeriCares cheerleader! You have done the most by far for the people of Smithville.

Marilyn Sumerford, Executive Director, Access Family Health, Smithville, MS

Thanks to our partnership with AmeriCares, the BD team provided training to health care workers at the Bugando Medical Center in Tanzania. The training focused on safe injection and blood collection practices, with the goal of ensuring health and safety of the staff and their patients. The medical staff at Bugando was continuing our efforts with AmeriCares and Tanzania

Renuka Gadde, Director, Global Health BD

The people at the clinic made me feel at ease; they are caring and understanding. I am grateful to them all.

    Frank, free clinics patient

AmeriCares is one of GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) most valued partners. Their solid reputation in the field, their expertise in bringing our products to those in need around the world, and their ability to build partnerships are just some of the reasons that GSK has chosen to work closely with them.

Claire Hitchcock, Director Europe & International Global Community Partnerships, GlaxoSmithKline

I help AmeriCares not just because of its critical work during disasters such as 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, or Tuesday’s earthquake in Haiti, but because as a successful nonprofit organization it has over 25 years of experience delivering more than $9 billion worth of critical aid throughout the globe.

    Tony Goldwyn, actor and director

I was studying for my master's degree, researching social justice, and realized that the most efficient organization should get the lion's share of the resources. AmeriCares gets the most important work done with the most efficiency—you can't get better than that.

    Mary Theresa Stengel

With the AmeriCares medicines we brought, and our volunteers’ expertise, we saved the lives of seven newborns in eight days.

    Dr. Mary Coleman

AmeriCares just saved a lot of lives here. The aid arrived just in time. Without this shipment, I don’t know what we would do.

    Dr. Douze in Haiti

It matters to us that this philanthropic investment will ultimately help save the lives of people who lack the basic medicines they need to survive.

    John and Janet Swanson

We chose AmeriCares because the work of the organization is so impressive, and I know that my support is directly benefiting those in need.

    Lila Coleman

I am very impressed by their efficiency and the amount of money that actually goes toward helping people.

    Skye, Online Donor

I should be giving you an award, for what AmeriCares does, what you have done for 20 years, what you did for the City of New York on and after Sept. 11…and thank you for redeeming the promise of America as a country of ideas and ideals and compassion.

Rudolph Giuliani, former Mayor of NYC
