In Cambodia, children are often born underweight and suffer from malnutrition their entire lives. To combat this, AmeriCares supports the Sihanouk Hospital Center of HOPE with deliveries of nutrient-rich meal packs— extremely effective in restoring health to severely malnourished patients. In addition, AmeriCares sends ongoing shipments of medicines and supplies to help the hospital provide free care to more than 90,000 impoverished patients each year, and supports major initiatives to treat breast cancer and HIV.
