Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts
“Operation Muck-Out” – a joint project of AmeriCares and World Cares Center - began on Sunday, November 11 in Far Rockaway. Volunteer teams spent the day cleaning mud and debris, and and eliminating the risk of mold. Residents who don’t have the physical ability to do the work themselves are our first priority.
