AmeriCares saves lives and builds healthier futures for people in crisis in the United States and around the world.
AmeriCares has a long standing commitment to fiscal responsibility and has consistently received high rankings from Charity Navigator for our accountability and transparency. These ratings reflect the fact that more than 97 percent of all donations directly improve the health of people in need – and less than 3 percent are used for administration and overhead. AmeriCares meets the Better Business Bureau standards for charity accountability.
Since it was established in 1982, AmeriCares has delivered more than $12 billion in humanitarian aid to 164 countries, including the United States. We gave a deeply ingrained culture of resourcefulness and efficiency that promotes quick action and getting more done with less. AmeriCares leverages every dollar donated to deliver $20 in aid.
