Programs in Our Own BackyardAmeriCares is committed to helping people in need throughout the United States and in our own backyard. AmeriCares is located in Stamford, Connecticut – an area hard hit by these difficult economic times. Through our community programs, AmeriCares Free Clinics and Camp AmeriKids, we provide health services to the uninsured in Connecticut and provide summer camp and leadership training opportunities to children and teens from Connecticut, New York and New Jersey impacted by HIV/AIDS.
