Patient Assistance Programs

PAP

Founded in 1994, the AmeriCares Patient Assistance Program (PAP) serves uninsured and under-insured individuals by providing life-saving medications to qualified, low-income individuals and families at no cost, through generous donations from AmeriCares pharmaceutical partners. A physician-based referral program, AmeriCares Patient Assistance Program oversees the allocation of medicines to those in the United States who would not otherwise have access to prescription drugs for chronic or long-term conditions.

Since its inception, the Patient Assistance Program has filled more than 3 million prescriptions, representing approximately $2 billion in donated products.
