“Our disaster preparedness planning and coordination is a vital part of our emergency response capabilities, especially in hurricane-prone regions."

Garrett Ingoglia, VP Emergency Response, AmeriCares

As families continue to struggle in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, AmeriCares continues our large-scale response and recovery effort deliveries of medicines, relief supplies, family emergency kits, sleeping bags and bottled water, along with funding for recovery projects throughout the tri-state area. Our mobile clinic has deployed to Staten Island, Long Island, the Rockaways and Brooklyn to help deliver primary care to families in crisis. Our recovery efforts will continue as long as needed.
