In the wake of powerful mid-Atlantic storms that left tens of thousands of families suffering amid power outages and sweltering heat, AmeriCares trucks were rolling to help communities in hard-hit West Virginia. A total of $277,000 in water, first aid, relief supplies and emergency medical aid was delivered to help families in need.
