AmeriCares Free Clinics provide free primary care to uninsured residents in a setting where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect. The AmeriCares Free Clinic of Norwalk offers sessions to those 16 and older in an adult clinic on Tuesdays, from 1-4 and Saturdays, from 9-12, and sessions for those under 16 in the Pediatric Clinic on Wednesdays, from 2-4. AmeriCares Free Clinics accept no federal government funding. Rather, it operates with private donations and volunteer services. Partnerships like this allow the clinic to continue its work in providing medical services to children who would otherwise receive delayed or no treatment at all. In addition, the Pediatric Clinic offers school physicals which allow children to enter school on a timelier basis. |
