Darfur: Throughout the year, AmeriCares delivered vital medicines and supplies to the people affected by the conflict in Darfur, Sudan, via airlifts directly into the country. Many of the clinics operating in refugee camps rely heavily on AmeriCares donations to serve their patients. AmeriCares is currently planning its tenth airlift into Darfur since 2004 and intends to send a series of shipments throughout 2008.
