Israel/Gaza Conflict: Americares is responding

Suggested Content

We support medical volunteers with donations of medicines and educational resources to bring quality health care to more people.

Americares Logomark

Americares Medical Outreach donates medicines and medical products to U.S.-based and licensed volunteer medical teams traveling abroad to provide primary care, perform surgeries, respond to emergencies and strengthen local health care capacity in communities where medical care is often unavailable or out of reach.

Each year, Americares Medical Outreach program supports volunteer medical teams making nearly 700 trips a year to more than 65 countries with medicine, supplies and educational resources.

Volunteer health care providers view available inventory and apply online to receive medical products. Once vetted and approved, the request is processed and the donation shipped to the provider’s licensed medical office or facility in the U.S. Volunteer health care providers use the products overseas and submit a required field report with product usage and team activity information upon their return.
