Our Medical Outreach Program supplies crucial medicines and medical products to skilled, dedicated U.S.-based volunteer health care teams traveling to countries where basic health care is unavailable or unaffordable.

Caring for people in desperate need:

Each year, we help support 1,000+ medical outreach trips, with primary medications, anesthesia, surgical supplies, nutritional supplements, and over the counter products -- touching the lives of people in more than 80 countries.

The result? Deadly infections are cured. Pain and suffering, alleviated. Patients are able to better manage their chronic diseases. Children and adults in desperate need of surgery get life-saving help that would be otherwise impossible.

Recent Medical Outreach News:

The AmeriCares Medial Outreach program donated medicines and supplies to aid a short-term medical mission to help school children in Haiti. The team treated the children for wounds, skin infections, and dental cavities and abscesses. Dental care is a significant problem within the school-age population.
