Severe weather in the southeastern U.S. has generated deadly tornadoes, killing at least 20 people. A particularly powerful tornado has caused considerable destruction in Albany, GA. Most of the deaths have occurred in Cook County, GA, where heavy damage included a mobile home park that was leveled by a likely tornado near Adel, a town of roughly 5,300, Multiple rounds of storms over two days have killed four in Mississippi and damaged homes and buildings in Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi. Our emergency team is in contact with partners in the area to determine if any aid is needed.
