SVP Real Estate Development, Empire State Development
Sarah Saint-Amand joined the Americares board in 2016. She is senior vice president of real estate development for New York State’s economic development agency, Empire State Development, where she plays a lead role in redeveloping Moynihan Station and expanding the Javits Center. Ms. Saint-Amand has a wealth of experience in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Prior to joining Empire State Development, she worked as vice president of the strategic investments group at the New York City Economic Development Corporation. She also worked in investment banking on large-scale infrastructure and project finance in North and South America. Ms. Saint-Amand also serves on the board of Plan International USA, an organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty for children in developing countries. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in art history from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
