The NonProfit Times
The NonProfit Times ranks AmeriCares No. 21 in its “Top 100” rankings for 2011. The list rates U.S. charities that receive at least 10 percent of total revenue from individual public support.
Better Business Bureau
AmeriCares proudly meets the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance Standards for Charity Accountability. The BBB Wise Giving Alliance helps donors make informed giving decisions by evaluating charitable organizations. The groups it evaluates must meet high standards for accountability. Those standards set out to encourage fair and honest solicitation practices.

Charity Navigator’s three-star rating indicates AmeriCares exceeds or meets industry standards and performs as well as or better than peer organizations. We also receive perfect marks for accountability and transparency.
