Those standards set out to encourage fair and honest solicitation practices. |

| AmeriCares has consistently received high rankings from Charity Navigator and continues to earn their highest rating for efficiency, a key measure to our donors. This efficiency rating reflects the fact that over 98% of our expenses directly support programs and aid and less than 2% represent administrative costs. |

Forbes ranks AmeriCares as number 7 on its list of 200 largest charitable organizations in its 2008 Investment Guide. Forbes ranks charities based on the amount of private gifts they receive. AmeriCares is also one of only four nonprofits with the highest rating for fundraising efficiency. |

On November 2, 2007, AmeriCares received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the FREDDIE Awards in Philadelphia. The FREDDIE Award is the "Oscar" of health and medical productions. The Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor at this event, which celebrated its 33rd year. |
